Daycare Employees Mocking Special Needs Children on Instagram

daycare-workers-firedAccording to reports by aol.com, two daycare employees from Newport News, VA were fired for their internet misconduct. The two childcare workers posted pictures to Instagram of the children they were supposed to be caring for. One of the pics was of a special needs child captioning "I'm tired of this sh*t". The other posted a picture of a child side by side the character Mater from the movie Cars, making fun of the toddler's teeth.

Again, these are people's children.

I always admired the idea of daycare. People from the community looking to provide a service to families who, because of hard times, had to work all day to provide a living. Meanwhile it brought more jobs to people qualified for child care. But as time goes on, the traditional family structure of one parent at home and one parent working is growing on me.

Take a look at this video of another unrelated daycare incident and then tell me how much peace of mind you have leaving your precious babies in the hands of daycare workers.

  1. He will end of killing or doing some type of permanent brain damage to these babies. He will also end up killing somebodies child. He needs counseling and a major ass whuppin. He clearly is an angry child I hope he gets help before its too late. Sad Sad

    • I’ve seen this video before and it’s very disturbing. I cannot believe this child. I hope by now the parents have found out and sued this daycare provider as well as this child’s parents. How do you raise a monster like this and don’t know. How do you let this little demon infiltrate the lives of real innocent kids. I just wanted to find him and beat his tail. I don’t care what these free thinking people believe about corporal punishment, this child needs a good tail beating. I was disciplined this way and it didn’t kill me and it also didn’t make me violent. What makes a child violent is parents who neglect these issues in the beginning and not stopping them. You let it fester and then this child is in school and bullying all of the other kids. As far as day care providers go, I stayed home until my children were old enough to talk cause if one of my children would have told me that this kind of thing was happening I would have turned that day care out. Not only would I not allow it to happen to my kids but I wouldn’t allow it to happen to anyone’s kids. I worked in day care for about two years and my eyes were always focused on the children in my care. How do you sit a baby in a walker and leave them alone? I hope that whole operation was shut down. Makes me upset every time I see it!!

    • Send him to St. Lucia. That’s what he needs, some good solid WEst Indian discipline. Country side style!

  2. Wow…I’m having a hard time containing my anger after watching that video. I have no use whatsoever for anyone who can harm a defenseless toddler – adult or kid. And the fact that the adult is so oblivious that he can actually get away with it while she’s in the room… Please tell me this place was closed after this came to light.

    • He is slick though. I am not sure I would blame the workers although they could be more vigilant. Look at how he looks around furtively, and waits for when their backs are turned. He pinches and torments them simply because they are smaller than he is. Whether he himself is a victim of abuse or not, this child needs some discipline.

  3. Wow I’m in the business of childcare and that is just unacceptable I don’t post pictures of the child I watch in respect of the parents … this article makes me upset because it makes it harder for the people who actually want to take care of children

  4. Regarding the video – He should have never been in the room with those younger kids to begin with. That’s where I blame the care providers.
As a parent I always made sure the children were separated by age into different rooms. Not just groups, but rooms. I also did regular bi-weekly surprise drop-ins to make sure that diapers were clean, he was comfortable and that the center’s rules (like age separation) were being followed.
As for the boy himself, what he needs goes way beyond a good ass whupping. He needs some serious 24 hr intensive therapy. Even then, I don’t know if that level of evil can be reformed.

  5. I had to stop watching the video half way through !!! How could hurt that defenceless young child. I was outraged !!! And if I were the child’s parents I would send him to jail or to a psycho asylum with anger management classes. I am also disgusted with the two things that the daycare employees did mocking that child.
